Effects that make the moment
Special effects are what turn a grand entrance, a first dance or a product reveal into the shot everyone remembers. VENEGEEST carries the full range and, more importantly, runs them safely — several of these need proper handling and venue clearance.
- Cold spark machines. Spark fountains that look like pyrotechnics but run cool, so they are permitted in many indoor venues where real pyro is not. Static and rotating heads available.
- CO2 jets. Sharp bursts of white cloud for drops and high-energy moments, with LED-lit heads.
- Haze and fog. Haze to make lighting beams visible; dry-ice and low-fog machines for a ground-hugging cloud that stays low, for first dances and reveals.
- Bubbles and confetti. Bubble machines for lighter moments, and confetti and streamer launchers for finales.
Run safely, cleared with the venue
Cold spark and CO2 in particular need correct placement, clearance and often venue sign-off. VENEGEEST handles the equipment and the safe operation; tell us the venue and the moment you are planning and we will advise what is permitted there.

Frequently asked questions
- How much does a cold spark machine cost to rent in the Bay Area?
- VENEGEEST quotes per event, since it depends on the number of units, whether you want static or rotating heads, and delivery. The per-day starting prices for the cold spark and rotating spark machines are listed above.
- Are cold sparks safe indoors?
- Cold spark fountains produce a spark effect that stays cool to the touch, which is why many indoor venues allow them where traditional pyrotechnics are prohibited. Placement, clearance and venue approval still matter, and we handle the safe setup.
- What is the difference between haze, fog and low fog?
- Haze is a fine, even atmosphere that makes lighting beams visible without looking smoky. Fog is a denser cloud. Dry-ice and low-fog machines produce a chilled cloud that hugs the floor rather than filling the room — the classic "dancing on clouds" first-dance effect.
- Do you operate the effects during the event?
- Yes. Cold spark, CO2 and low fog are timed to moments in the show and are run by our crew, so the effect lands on cue and operates safely.
- Will my venue allow these effects?
- Many do, especially cold spark and haze, but it varies by venue and some require advance sign-off. Tell us the venue and we will advise what is permitted and handle any clearance the setup needs.
